Examination & Treatment Procedure

National Medical ™ physicians are located throughout the United States. Our local physician, licensed in the state where the patient resides, conducts a prior physical examination, performs a clinical assessment, and obtains a medical indication before the issuance of any prescription for medication to any National Medical ™ patient. This process applies to all National Medical ™ treatment programs described on this site.

PHYSICAL EXAMINATION, EVALUATION , PRESCRIPTION

& PHARMACY DISPENSING OF PRESCRIBED DRUG

 

PROCEDURE

 

1.       Physical examination by consulting local physician or your own doctor who agrees to supervise your treatment;

2.       Local medical lab test for testosterone patients only;

3.       Evaluation of your medical history, physical exam report and any lab report by consulting National Medical Clinic physician;

4.       Issuance of appropriate patient requested prescription by a consulting National Medical Clinic physician; and

5.       The dispensing of your prescribed drug directly to you via Federal Express by U.S. Pharmacy.

 

 

NATIONAL MEDICAL CLINIC PROVIDES A LOCAL

PHYSICIAN TO CONDUCT YOUR PHYSICAL EXAM

 

National Medical Clinic is not an online pharmacy or online medical clinic, but a national network of examining and prescribing primary care physicians combined with a patient medical services management organization that enables you in conveniently obtain a physician’s prescription for your requested medication dispensed directly to you by a U.S. pharmacy. 

 

A local physician will conduct your physical examination at your home or at a local medical office:

 

1.      Conducts your physical examination and prepares your ‘Exam Report” which is to be faxed to National Medical Clinic;

2.      Completes and signs a National Medical Clinic form that you print during checkout at the time of purchase entitled ‘Primary Care Physician’s Physical Examination Acknowledgement’. Please fax this form to National Medical Clinic. This form confirms  that the examining physicians consents to an ongoing relationship with you; agrees to supervise the National Medical medical treatment, including the medication prescribed by a National Medical Clinic physician with whom the examining physician consents to consult.

EVALUATES THE PHYSICAL EXAM REPORT, MEDICAL HISTORY REPORT,
AND MEDICAL COMPLAINT NOTES PREPARED LOCALLY
BY THE EXAMINING NATIONAL MEDICAL PHYSICIAN AND ISSUES
AN APPROPRIATE PRESCRIPTION FOR MEDICATION

 

A National Medical Clinic physicians review your medical file and provide the following services in consultation with your local National Medical Clinic physician who conducted your current physical exam:

 

1.      Evaluate your current physical examination and medical history report prepared by the consulting primary care physician;

2.      Evaluate the contents and comments provided by the examining primary care physician on National Medical Clinic’s form entitled Primary Care Physician’s Physical Examination Acknowledgement’;

3.      Evaluate your medical complaint and other information provided by you online at this site when you complete your ‘Patient Confidential Medical History Form;

4.      If you are seeking testosterone treatment, then the lab report reflecting your testosterone and PSA level will also be assessed by the prescribing physician;

5.      Consult with the examining physician to the extent medically appropriate under the circumstances;

6.      Assure that there is some logical connection with regard to your medical complaint and the drug to be prescribed for you; and

7.      Issue your prescription for the requested medication if medically appropriate.

 

STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS PROVIDE THE LEGAL AUTHORITY
 FOR MULTIPLE CONSULTING PHYSICIANS AND  PRESCRIBING PROCEDURE

 

National Medical Clinic ™, a Florida based physicians network, physicians issue patient prescriptions in compliance with Drug Enforcement Administration Federal Register Notices – 2001, Guidance. Dispensing and Purchasing Controlled Substances over the Internet. Source: [Federal Register: April 27, 2001 (Volume 66, Number 82)] [Notices] [Page 21181-21184] [DEA-191N].  National Medical Clinic ™ physicians also issue prescriptions in consultation with examining primary care physicians in accordance with Florida Standards for Telemedicine Prescribing Practice, Florida Board of Medicine Rule 64B8-9.014 (5) under the specific authority of 458.309, 458.331(1)(v) Florida Statutes. Law implemented 458.331(1)(q),(t),(v) Florida Statutes as new laws on September 14, 2003. The consulting examining physicians agree to a consulting relationship  with the National Medical Clinic consulting and prescribing physician; maintaining an ongoing relationship with the patient examined; and to supervising any medical treatment prescribed by a National Medical Clinic consulting physician, including prescribed medication. National Medical Clinic requires a physical examination prior to the issuance of any prescription to any patient for both controlled substances and non-controlled prescription drugs.
