Examination & Treatment Procedure

National Medical ™ physicians are located throughout the United States. Our local physician, licensed in the state where the patient resides, conducts a prior physical examination, performs a clinical assessment, and obtains a medical indication before the issuance of any prescription for medication to any National Medical ™ patient. This process applies to all National Medical ™ treatment programs described on this site.

THE HCG WEIGHT LOSS AND DIET 50 DAY PROGRAM

An HCG Weight Loss and Diet 50 Day Medical Program

To Treat Obesity and Achieve Permanent Weight Loss

Treatment Period for this Program is 50 days with the flexibility of
increasing the duration of the treatment period in increments of 50 days for
each additional vial of HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin for Injection, USP)
10,000 Units requested by patient and approved by the Treating Physician based
upon the patient's medical condition, weight and body mass index.

The national physician network of National Medical Clinic, Inc. provides each patient in this program with a pre-paid, assigned network physician in the patient's community, a physical examination by the patient’s assigned physician and laboratory blood diagnostic convenient to the patient's residence or work location.

A patient provides their detailed and complete medical history at the time of online or phone registration and program enrollment with National Medical Clinic, Inc. which is supplemented further at the time the network physician conducts a complete physical examination of the patient.

After the completion of the patient’s physical examination and physician’s receipt of the patient’s lab tests and medical history, the physician performs a clinical assessment of the patient’s medical condition. A clinical assessment includes the physician’s evaluation of patient medical complaint, medical history, physical exam results, the patient’s diagnostic medical laboratory test report, patient’s subjective statements as to medical condition, patient body mass index and other relevant medical factors.

If the physician determines that the HCG weight loss and diet medical treatment sought by the patient is medically indicated by the exam and laboratory findings combined with the patient’s body mass index; and further that the sought prescribed medical weight loss and diet treatment is logically related to the patient’s medical condition or medical complaint, then the patient’s physician will generally prescribe HCG weight loss and diet treatment coupled with instructions that the patient select a national diet plan approved by National Medical Clinic, Inc., if a patient acknowledges that they lack sufficient time to follow the demanding Simeons diet.

If the assigned physician declines to prescribe the sought treatment, then all of the patient’s program purchase fees shall promptly be refunded in full by National Medical Clinic, Inc., which also pays the fees and costs incurred for the patient’s physical examination, diagnostic medical laboratory testing and physician clinical assessment. In this process, both the physician and diagnostic medical laboratory are provided and paid by National Medical Clinic, Inc.

The medical research and treatment protocol for this HCG weight loss and diet program was conducted and developed by European medical researcher and physician Dr. A.T.W. Simeons and detailed in his medical manuscript entitled Pounds and Inches, A New Approach To Obesity.

This National Medical ™ HCG weight loss and diet treatment program has a fifty (50) day treatment period and an initial dose rate of 200 units HCG once daily for most patients. Patients self-injects 200 units HCG once daily intramuscularly into a thigh muscles (quadriceps), or alternative muscle area, using an insulin type 1cc disposable syringe with a small 29 gauge 1/2 inch needle.

Instructions on how to do intramuscular injections are provided with images at website http://www.howtodoinjections.com/im.html and also included in written instructions provided to each National Medical ™ patient after treatment has been prescribed and prior to the commencement of treatment

If a patient is not comfortable with self-injection using an insulin type syringe with a small 29 gauge ½ inch needle, they may can elect an alternative method of obtaining their daily injections. One option is to purchase a spring loaded injector that injects the small needle for the patient. Another option is to pay the physician a daily fee and the physician’s nurse can provide patient injections. The latter option can be costly over time and most patients rapidly learn to inject with the insulin syringe or purchase the spring loaded injector.

A total of 10,000 Units HCG are self-injected at a dose rate of 200 units per during the 50 day treatment period of this National Medical ™ HCG weight loss and diet treatment program , unless the patient has requested and treating physician approved the prescribing of one or more additional vials HCG for the patient. Each additional prescribed vial of HCG extends the duration of the patient’s treatment period by fifty (50) days. A patient may request that the treating physician authorize and prescribe additional vials of HCG at the time of registration and enrollment or during the treatment period. Patients with severe obesity or a high body mass index may determine, along with their physician, that a longer treatment period is indicated to achieve treatment objectives and significantly reduce the health risk confronting obese patients and those with high body mass indices.

This National Medical ™ HCG Weight Loss and Diet Treatment Program includes the following:
  1. Obtaining a complete patient medical history;
  2. Identifying and referring the patient to a network physician in their community;
  3. Undergoing medical laboratory diagnostic testing at a location convenient for the patient and paid for by National Medical Clinic Inc.;
  4. Current physical examination by patient’s physician provided by National Medical ™ which pays the physician for the patient exam;
  5. Physician clinical assessment of patient’s physical exam findings, lab tests, medical history and patient complaint to determine whether to issue the patient sought prescribed treatment;
  6. Physician issuance of prescribed HCG weight loss treatment or refund of full program purchase price to patient if their assigned physician declines to issue the sought prescription;
  7. One (1) vial HCG 10,000 Units, USP prescribed by the patient's physician to be self-injected at a dose rate of 200 Units HCG, USP once daily during the treatment period for this program.
  8. The total amount of HCG prescribed, dispensed and administered during this treatment is 10,000 Units, USP HCG over a period of fifty (50) days.
  9. Each patient is provided an HCG weight loss and diet treatment plan based upon the medical protocol developed by European Medical Researcher and Physician, Dr. A.T.W. Simeons.
  10. A patient may request one or more additional vials of prescribed HCG to extend the length of the treatment period subject to the approval of the patient’s physician. This program capacity is particularly important to patient's who are significantly overweight as they can require more time to successfully achieve treatment objectives;
  11. A patient undergoing daily HCG injections may elect to follow a National Medical ™ approved alternative diet plan when the patient lacks sufficient time to devote to the Simeons diet. Alternative diet plans approved for National Medical ™ for its patients enrolled in the HCG weight loss and diet program include any of the following excellent diets. The patient is responsible for paying the fees or other costs associated with following an alternative diet during HCG weight loss treatment.

National Medical ™ encourages its HCG weight loss and diet program patients who have no regular exercise to consider participating in an activity that the patient enjoys and also provides reasonable exercise of patient age and medical condition. A brisk daily walk for 45 minutes daily provides very good exercise for many individuals.
    National Medical ™ suggests patients find some form of activity they enjoy, which also involves exercise. A walk on the beach daily, a stroll with your pet, bicycling, tennis, hiking, rollerblading, and swimming might be activities to enjoy while benefiting from the exercise involved in the activity. The Use of HCG for Weight Loss is Not an FDA Approved Use
The FDA has not approved the use of HCG for weight loss treatment, obesity therapy or determined that the use of HCG contributes to an individual’s loss of body fat. The FDA, National Institute of Health and the manufacturers of HCG advise that "HCG has no known affect on fat mobilization, reducing appetite or sense of hunger, or body fat distribution." and they further state that "HCG has not been demonstrated to be an effective adjunct therapy in the treatment of obesity and does not increase fat losses beyond that resulting from caloric restriction."

HCG is Prescribed for Weight Loss at the Discretion of Physician
Use of HCG to treat obesity or for medical weight loss treatment is not an FDA approved use of this prescription drug. A patient's physician may prescribe HCG for an unapproved medical purpose or off-label use of the drug because the use of this drug has not generally caused serious adverse side effects when administered to patients for its approved use in treating infertility. Allowing physicians professional discretion to prescribe HCG in treating obesity or for patient weight loss is not based upon any governmental determination that HCG is effective for such use.

The Use of HCG to treat obesity or for use in a medical weight loss treatment combined with a low carb, low fat and low sugar diet with recommended exercise is not an FDA approved use of HCG and is prescribed at the discretion of the patient's physician based upon the physician's clinical assessment of the patient's medical complaint, medical history, physical examination results and diagnostic laboratory report combined with the perceived benefit to be derived by the patient from the medication when combined with a healthy diet plan and exercise.

Medical Disorders Revealed by Physical Exam or Lab
A patient’s medical laboratory diagnostic tests or physical exam may reveal other medical conditions or disorders indicating the need for medical treatment other than, or in addition to, medical weight loss treatment . The diagnostic and physician fees and costs associated with such other medical conditions are not included in the above for fees for this single therapy. The patient shall be referred to their primary care physician or a physician specialist with regard to medical treatments not provided by National Medical Clinic, Inc. or the treating physician.
